My interior design and architectural work, ranges across residential, leisure, cultural, hospitality and housing projects. I approach design at a range of scales, from high-level urban masterplanning to zoomed-in assembly detailing.

My design is defined by honest and raw materials, rich textures and authentic details. I am always influenced by nature whether it be the forms, colors, textures or palette it is always represented in some form in my designs.
It is very important for me to create unique interiors and part of this is including other designers where possible. Whether it be artisans, furniture designers, ceramic designers or lighting designers there is so much talent here in the NL and the opportunity to work with other designers to create unique pieces. 

My design purpose is to honor the individuality of each client and push the imagination to create unique spaces. I believes that spaces should reflect their inhabitants and their unique stories. 

For Studio Vazanna, each project represents a new narrative, client, architectural form and all these items play into the concept for the space. Having a strong narrative and concept from the beginning. Whether it is residential or commercial knowing the story you are trying to tell is imperative to the end result. And for creating designs that last and are appreciated over time. 

For Studio Vazanna, a project starts with listening and looking very carefully. What is the question, the need, the challenge and what are the possibilities? Sometimes extra exploratory research is needed, sometimes we can get started right away. Always in consultation and on the basis of a clear proposal.

Studio Vazanna likes to work for private clients, but also in a collective or as reinforcement at architectural and design firms.
